  • Hiking pants (breathable, quick dry)
  • Fleece (you might remove this during the hike)
  • Windproof/waterproof jacket
  • Sunglasses (snow and bare rock are really reflective surfaces)
  • Sun or woolly hat, bandana (depending on weather conditions)
  • Woolly/waterproof gloves
  • Thermal clothes/underwear (for really cold conditions)
  • Second pair of shoes (for after the hike)
  • Second change of socks/clothes (for after the hike)
  • Day backpack (to carry during the hike)
